IAC EVENTS

I chair the Events Committee for the IAC Executive Committee. Jim Beaupre and Tricia Iveson are members of the committee. We oversee the IAC Events; ELC, MOC, The Small Business Conference, The Western Conference/Technology Leadership Conference, Golf/Tennis Tournament and this year the 2009 IAC/ACT anniversary gala and events. We have a big job and need the help of all the IAC/ACT volunteers.

The Executive Leadership Conference (ELC) held in Williamsburg is coming very soon, Oct 26-28th. Chair persons Anne Altman, IBM and Bob Howard, VA along with the ELC team are putting together a terrific conference. Hopefully you are registered! We are looking for nominations for the ELC Awards.

The planning for Management of Change (MOC) 2009 has begun. It will be held in Norfolk June 7th-9th. The chairs are Casey Coleman, GSA and Joe Dawson, Robins Gioia and the Vice Chairs are Mary Souther, Indus and Gary Galloway, State. The call for volunteers has gone out and the rest of the team is being assembled. We are looking for your help!

Planning for the 2009 Small Business Conference is underway. The team is lead by Joel Horwitz, Aegis and Marc Weisman, HHS. The conference will be held March 24th at the Westin in Arlington. We need your ideas!

Plans for the ACT/IAC Anniversary have just begun. Ellen Glover, ICF and Martha Dorris, GSA are leading the effort. The call for volunteers just went out. We are looking for 4 teams to help in the effort: Anniversary Gala, Milestones and History, PR/Marketing or Sponsorship. Have you volunteered?
